Charlottesville Albemarle Robotics is a club of high school and gifted middle school boys and girls located in and around Charlottesville, Virginia. The club is based around the philosophy of FIRST, a section 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting science and technology among youth. Founded in 2001, CA Robotics (Team 619) is one of over a thousand teams from more than three countries that participate in the annual FIRST / NASA Robotics Competition.
