UHSSE is a Magnet school located at the University of Hartford. We have a full capacity of 400 students, in grades 9 through 12 - about 100 students in each grade level.

We draw students from 36 towns, including Hartford itself.

All of our classes are at the Honors or AP level. Classes in math, engineering and the sciences are doubled up, so that students may take University level courses in their Junior and Senior years.

Our focus is on science, math and engineering.
