At the first ever Coastal Bend Boosting Engineering Science Technology (BEST) Robotics Competition held at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the Bruni High School Badgerbots finished second to Flour Bluff High School. Other participants included: George West HS, Sinton HS, Gregory-Portland HS, Calallen HS, Port Aransas HS, and Flour Bluff MS. Student participants included: Javier S., Armando C., Mario L., and David J. The team coach is Mark Morales. The Badgerbots now look forward to competing in For Inspiration Recognizing Science and Technology (F.I.R.S.T.).
