Lakota 1038  
Lakota East Robotics Team 1038 from Lakota East High School is a third year team of the FIRST Robotics Competition. Forty sophomores, juniors, and seniors of all skill levels are competing this year for Lakota East, and we will be going to the Boilermaker Regional Competition at Purdue University from March 9-12. We are sponsored by P&G, Butler Tech, Hydro-Cut, Shan Precision, Miami University, and Lakota East High School. Mentors from some of our sponsors help the students and guide them through machining and programming the robot. After the February 22nd ship date, the team will prepare for their trip to Purdue and hopefully continue on to the National Competition in Atlanta, GA in April. This season will be just as, if not more, successful than team 1038's second year.
