Wheeler High School’s robotics organization is an award winning program that involves students from throughout Cobb County. The team originated in 2002 as an outlet to channel creativity and technology in today’s students. Starting with just 26 students the organization now has over 100 members and works year round to promote engineering and robotics education. Our organization also mentors over 20 FIRST Lego League (FLL) middle school robotics teams and this year will implement the Jr. FIRST Lego League (JFLL) elementary robotics program. In the past year the CircuitRunners have expanded again to include the sponsorship of a FIRST Robotics team named the Georgia Robotics Alliance (GRA). GRA is composed of students whose schools do not currently have the ability to start a FIRST team at their school.
