Worcester Polytechnic Institute Design Innovation Scholarship

For the eleventh consecutive year, WPI will award a full-tuition, four-year undergraduate scholarship (valued at more than $120,000) to a FIRST team student participant. This year, each team participating in the 2006 FIRST Robotics Competition may nominate one of its student members for the WPI Design Innovation Scholarship. The candidate must be in her/his senior year of high school and be an active FIRST team member. An adult team leader will submit a letter of nomination to accompany their candidate's WPI application forms. Applications for admission to WPI must be received by February 1, 2006. Scholarship applications must be received by March 1, 2006.

Eligibility Rules

• Must be in her/his senior year of high school
  
• Must be an active FIRST team member
  
• Must be capable of meeting normal WPI admissions requirement
  
• Must maintain satisfactory academic progress at WPI to maintain the award
