William Paterson University

In support of the FIRST mission, William Paterson University will offer one Presidential
Scholarship to a high school senior who has participated on a FIRST Robotics Competition
(FRC) or FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team during his or her junior or senior year and would
like to attend William Paterson University. This scholarship may be utilized for any
undergraduate course of study at William Paterson University.

Eligibility Rules

• William Paterson University Presidential Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year and
  
• are designed to recognize high-achieving high school students for their academic
  
• accomplishments. To be considered, students must present SAT scores (critical reasoning and
  
• math) of 1100 or higher and rank in the top 25% of their class. Students with SAT scores (critical
  
• reasoning and math) of 1050 - 1100 and rank in the top 15% of their class may also qualify.
  
• Presidential Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first served basis to students who have
  
• been admitted to the University beginning in October of the applicant’s senior year in high
  
• school. These awards are packaged with all other sources of merit and need-based financial aid.
  
• The application deadline for this scholarship is February 15 for the Fall Semester and November
  
• 1 for the Spring Semester.
