The Oregon Institute of Technology is pleased to o ffer 2 scholarships to participants in the FIRST R obotics Competition (FRC).   High school seniors who actively participate and  provide leadership on a successful FRC team for t wo years may qualify for a enewable $1500 Engineer ing scholarship in addition to any other awards fo r which an applicant may qualify.

Eligibility Rules

  • 1. Strong academic ability as evidenced by:  a. High school grades, especially in advanced math an d science classes b. Completion of college credit classes through commu nity colleges, advanced placement or other college  credit programs  c. Scores on standardized exams, such as the PSAT, SA T or ACT 2. Active participation and leadership on a successfu l FIRST FRC team and in other extracurricular acti vities 3. An interest in majoring in Engineering
