In partnership with FIRST, Florida Atlantic University will award a FIRST Robotics Scholarship commencing in the fall semester of 2007. The hands-on engineering and technical experiences learned while competing in FIRST are skills you can build on as an undergraduate Engineering or Computer Science student at FAU. Broward or Palm Beach County, Florida high-school seniors participating in their high school’s FIRST FRC or FVC program are eligible to apply. The FAU FIRST scholar will receive funding for twelve (12) credits each fall and spring semester for four (4) years. Total value of the scholarship is approximately $12,000.00 dollars. The application deadline is February 20, 2007.

Eligibility Rules
- Must be a resident of Broward County, Florida
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must have a minimum score of 1000 on the SAT
- Must stay enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours a semester, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to maintain award
