At MSU, the development and well being of students is of major importance. Recent innovations implemented to make student life less stressful and more enriching are the Academic Success Center, in which all counseling services are gathered under one roof; phone and Web-based registration, and Internet connections in all residence hall rooms. In 2001, students began to enjoy a new gathering place of their very own when our Red Hawk Diner opened on October 23. The University completed a new student residential village in 2003, the largest construction project in our school's history. A new 1,100 space parking structure has improved access to our beautiful campus, while the new 500-seat Alexander Kasser Theater provides an additional venue for enriching performances.
