Ivy Tech State College, Bloomington

Ivy Tech State College is Indiana's second largest state college, with 23 campuses and 65 instructional sites across the state. Ivy Tech State College has two 16-week semesters, (Fall and Spring semesters), and an 10-week Summer term.

Ivy Tech State College's Bloomington campus has an enrollment of approximately 3,400 students taking both day and evening classes in full-time and part-time programs. Students range in age from teenagers to retirement age, with most students being in their twenties and thirties.

Ivy Tech State College's Bloomington campus has 41 full-time faculty members, 200 part-time (adjunct) faculty members, and 70 support staff. Courses are taught at the Ivy Tech Bloomington campus, which is located at 200 Daniels Way on the west side of Bloomington. Courses are also taught in Bedford Learning Center.

The Ivy Tech State College-Bloomington campus offers courses in technical programs which may be taken for Associate degrees (2-year degrees), Technical Certificates (1-year degrees), and Career Development Certificates (shorter term, focused courses of study). Additionally, many courses are offered on a continuing education basis for people not wanting to pursue a course of study leading to a degree, but wanting to enhance personal/professional skills.
