Other programs and training: Continuing Education (part-time study) offers 2,100 courses, 61 certificate programs and 12 diploma programs in a wide variety of career and personal interest subject areas. Contract training to businesses and individuals is provided through the college's Business and Industry Development Services (BIDS). The PIC Group, established in 1985 as an entrepreneurial arm of Durham College, has grown from a local, quality-training company to a leading North American provider of comprehensive quality solutions, including inspection, quality engineering, training and consulting focused on quality assurance systems.
